Introducing the Gallery of Light Collection by Bob Olszewski. Inspired by Disney's beloved animated classics, these entrancing miniature scenes are a visual realm of beauty, depth and light you can enter with your eyes. Each charming miniature scene is presented in a specially lit shadow box format, then exquisitely framed and protected by glass.

About the artist:

An internationally acclaimed painter, sculptor and engineer, Robert Olszewski has specialized in the fine art of micro-sculpture for nearly 30 years.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Bob moved to Southern California where he taught art for eleven years. Bob then embarked to pursue his miniature artistry full-time, winning acclaim as co-founder of the Goebel Miniatures Studios. Upon leaving Goebel in 1994, Bob established Olszewski Studios producing minature works for the Walt Disney Classics Collection and the Story-Time collection of decorated bronze and pewter mini Disney scenes.

Now Bob's miniature artistry - and monumental talent - is available in new innovative form in the Gallery of Light collection.

This is not a typical product line for us at YonderStar, but we were so impressed with the detail and beauty of these Disney shadowboxes, we decided to carry them just the same!

In addition to our in stock selection new scenes are available for pre-order below. They will will be available in June (Winnie the Pooh, Alice In Wonderland, & Jack&Sally - Nightmare Before Christmas) of 2009. These new figures feature scenes from the following movies: Winnie The Pooh, Alice In Wonderland, and a second scene from The Nightmare Before Christmas! Also featured for pre-order are some famous Thomas Kinkade paintings.
